Brahma Shri Kanippayoor Krishnan Namboothiripadu
Kanippayoor is the name of a Brahmin family with a rich cultural heritage, whose members have been scholars and practitioners of various subdivisions of Vedas such as Vasthuvidya, Astrology, Astronomy etc.

Kanippayoor Krishnan Namboothiripadu born in 1944, is now the last word in Traditional Architecture. He secured a Master Degree in Mathematics from Calicut University and joined as lecturer in Kerala Varma College under the same university. After a short period of lectureship, he resigned and started the practice of Vasthu Vidya. He learned vasthuvidya under his grandfather Sri. Kanippayoor Shankaran Namboothiripadu since his childhood.

Kanippayoor Krishnan Namboothiripadu has traditional architecture students in almost all countries of the world. He is the Dean of Vasthuvidya Gurukulam, a Kerala Government Institution for the promotion and preservation of Kerala Traditional Architecture and he heads the faculty of Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, Vedic University. He is also the chairman of Vasthuvidya Prathishtanam, an institution for the research of Vasthuvidya. He is the visiting faculty member of various university in foreign countries. At present, he is the Vasthu consultant of the building under construction, which is regarded as the World’s highest, at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh by Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Foundation. The 101 storied ‘Peace Tower’ will be twice as America’s Empire State building.

Kanipayoor Parameswaran Namboothiripadu
He is the brother of Sri Kanippayoor Krishnan Namboothiripadu and the Editor and Publisher of Traditional Architecture books, by the Kanippayoor Publishing Company. He is also a member of Vasthuvidya Gurukulam faculty and other institutions conducting Traditional Architecture course.

Dr Balakrishna Warrier
An Astrologer and astronomer, Dr Balakrishna Warrier has post graduate degree in Physics from both Kerala University, India and University of Waterioo, Canada. He took his Ph.D. in Super Conductivity from Cochin University, India. The posts he served include that of Govt. Astrologer and Travancore Devaswam Board Astrologer. He currently takes classes in Vasthuvidya Gurukulam on Vasthu Jyothisham and is also a Visiting professor in Thiruppathi University, Andhra Pradesh.

Gopalakrishna Panicker
An Engineering graduate from Kerala University Joined in the Kerala Public Works Department in 1962 and retired as Deputy Chief Engineer. He passed Vasthu Vidya course with a vasthuvidya gurukulam's post graduate diploma in traditional architecture. This is the only university recognised vasthuvidya course in India.

Gopalakrishna Panicker now practices Vasthuvidya and has successfully clubbed this ancient science with modern engineering practices for a perfect synthesis of east and west.
